Neck Pain

The information is intended to inform and educate and is not a replacement for medical evaluation, advice, diagnosis or treatment by a healthcare professional.

Neck pain is most often related to the soft tissue (muscles) of the neck—pain and tightness through the neck and upper shoulders.

The majority of neck pain is postural in nature. Not only does this relate to your regular standing posture, but ergonomics—how you sleep, how you sit at a computer etc.

Overactive upper trapezius muscles fatigue, causing muscular pain and discomfort.
