Thoracic Spine and Muscle Passive ROM


  • Lie face down on the ground with arms extended overhead and hands clasped together.
  • Parter┬ásits on the upper back and draws the arms upwards, completing a PNF sequence.

On own:

  1. Lie on your back with the foam roller across the lower border of you shoulder blades.
  2. Extend your arms overhead towards the ground and extend the thoracic spine.

Key points:

  • Lower back must remain in contact with the ground.

Dose: Minimum 60 seconds.
