– How do we build these things? Well, we build stability by resisting movement. So if we’re trying to make a joint more stable, if we’re trying to go into that scapula shoulder blade protraction because we’re trying to avoid retraction, yeah, like you guys were working on your pushup positions there, to make this position stronger we need to go into this position. It’s simple because being stable is a process of strengthening muscles but also strengthening that knowledge of proper reception, that knowledge of where those muscles are actually sitting. So quite simply we build stability through resisting unwanted movements. And as we go we’ll talk about some examples of how we can do that for your particular movement faults.
