Recipe: Berry, Banana and Spinach Breakfast Smoothie

Serves 2. Preparation 5 mins.

 

Ingredients:

  • 200g Frozen Berries (Mixed)
  • 1 Banana
  • 1 Tblspn Seeds (Pepitas, Flax, Chia, Sunflower)
  • 1 Tspn Almond Butter
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 Handfuls Baby Spinach
  • 400ml Milk (Almond or Coconut if strict paleo)

 

Method:

  1. Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until completely smooth and is all one colour.

 

Russ says:

If you dont have much time in the morning this is perfect, there is no chopping or messing around, just throw it in the blender. Use mixed berries with strawberries in the packet, it tastes slightly sweeter. Also putting a sprinkle of ground cinnamon in the mix brings out the flavour of the banana a little more.
