Physiotherapist Joins Range of Motion Clinic Team

We’re excited to announce that Physiotherapist Penny Stern is joining Range of Motion’s Clinic team. Penny is a long term client of ROM, and is looking forward to increasing this involvement. Aside from her expertise as a Physiotherapist, Penny has an extensive sporting background with State hockey and cricket, as well as endurance events.

Penny has a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy and is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APAM), Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Association (MPA) and Sports Physiotherapy Association (SPA).

Penny’s clinical interests include acute and chronic sports injury rehabilitation, musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions, spinal physiotherapy, headaches and  tempero-madibular joint disorders. She believes in an evidence based approach using hands-on manual therapy as the basis to treatment.  She is a strong advocate for self-management and will apply specific, progressive exercise-based rehabilitation to address the underlying causes of your injury and optimize function.

You can contact Penny at penny_s_@hotmail.com or on 0438 448 602.

What will Penny bring to our team?

The biggest assets Penny will bring to the team will be her diagnostic ability and her hands-on manual therapy skills. She will be working and liaising closely with other Range of Motion staff to ensure a multi-person approach to your musculo-skeletal health. A considerable inter-referal network will be developed within the Range of Motion team. As always, our team will work within the systems with which you are currently familiar, principally the inclusion of the Range of Motion Pre- and Post- Exercise Routines.
