Serves 6. Preparation time 30 mins.
Ingredients:
SALAD
- 1/4 red cabbage
- 1/4 normal cabbage
- 2 carrots
- 1 red capsicum
- 1 red onion or spring onions
- ~700g rump steak or similar
DRESSING / MARINADE
- 2 limes – juiced
- 2tbs fresh ginger – grated
- 2 cloves garlic – grated
- 1/2 bunch fresh mint – chopped
- 1/2 bunch fresh coriander – chopped
- 1tbs soy sauce
- 1tbs fish sauce or oyster sauce
- 2tbs sesame oil
- 1 chili
Method:
- Finely slice all veges (julienne).
- Combine dressing ingredients. Make sure to taste test and add ingredients until it is to your liking.
- Use half the dressing over the beef slices to marinate.
- Cook beef. Add beef to salad.
- Add remaining dressing.
